The new Winter Wonderland option is a farm that is ruled by a northern Winter season, encased in ice, with special frozen Crops. With the farm, a player obtains a Sweets Shop. Like any Crafting building in FarmVille, the Sweets Shop initially is little more than a temporary structure offering two dishes. With upgrades, however, the number of Recipes increases and the building itself becomes grander.
As well as the Recipes for the Sweets Shop in the Winter Wonderland, the Yule season and Winter Farm offer Players two new Recipes at the Home Farm. Recipes differ depending on the Craft the Player has chosen. There are two Recipes for the Spa, two for the Winery and two for the Bakery.
At special seasons, a time-limited seasonal Recipe often is added. Most of the time, Players have no information as to the time-restricted nature of the Recipe, until it is pulled from the list. One day before its disappearance, Zynga sometimes will see fit to inform the Players that the Recipe only has 23 hours to run!

Time-restricted Recipes like this are open to Players at every level of experience in the Crafting Building in which they appear. If a Player wishes to gain 3 Star Mastery of the Recipe (with sign), he/she must make the Recipe regularly from the moment it first appears. What is useful to all Players about these transient Recipes is the fact that, beginning at Level 1, it is easy to raise experience Levels in the building in which they appear, thus making an Upgrade possible earlier than it otherwise might be.
